Symbolizing: Love in Action
The various hyssop plants that grow in Israel are not the same plant that we see in northern USA gardens. While the anise hyssop is in the same mint family as those in Israel, it is only reminiscent of the plant that carried wine vinegar to the lips of Jesus. This devotion describes the love that Jesus has for mankind when he called out, “It is finished!”
