Symbolizing: Patient Endurance
The crowned glory of the mid-summer garden is the purple coneflower, abundantly proclaiming itself with simple daisy-shaped pink and purple flowers. Some people don't see the resemblance to patient endurance but I hope they look again, for I describe a crown that is worth pursuing.
